No, but it may have a fuse in it, I don't know, did smoke come out of the n64? if so then you're screwed. Next time try a step down transformer.

The current voltage rate for North America is 120 volts so you need the north american N64 ac adapter and use a voltage or a multi meter to check the ratungs.

Hi we just bought a nintendo 64 and plugged everything the red light comes on but when we insert the game it flickers then the screen turns dark green and nothing. We have plugged and replugged, cleaned...

I say your N64 is obsolete at this point. May I suggest playing N64 games on your PC. A rom is a game that is 'ripped' from a game cartridge or cd of a game console (usually a console generation earlier than the second latest.) An emulator is what you run the rom in. The emulator is what allows you to use your mouse, keyboard, etc. to play the game.
http://coolrom.com/ is a great source for roms. You can get roms for the N64, GBA, GBA, GB, GameCube, Nintendo DS and even some sega games! You search for your game, find it in the list of search results and download the game.
http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/n64/ This is a list of N64 emulators that are readily available for you to download.
http://www.emulator-zone.com/ This is the root site of the link above. Please feel free to check it out. There are several other lists of emulators for other game consoles, handheld and home gaming.
Thank you for choosing FixYa.:) Have a nice day (y)

How do you erase memory from the memory pak

  • Plug an N64 controller into the "Player 1" port on the Nintendo 64.
  • 2 Place the N64 Controller Pack into the memory card slot on the Nintendo 64 controller.
  • 3 Insert a Nintendo 64 game into the cartridge slot on the N64.
  • 4 Hold down "Start" on the N64 controller.
  • 5 Turn the Nintendo 64 on via the "Power" switch on the device. After the console loads, the Controller Pack menu will appear on the screen.
  • 6 Release the "Start" button on the N64 controller.
  • 7 Browse through the saves listed, using the N64 controller's directional pad.
  • 8 Highlight the game you want to erase.
  • 9 Select the "Delete" option. The pages that were occupied by the game save will be erased from the Controller Pack.
  • 10 Repeat Steps 7 though 9 until you're finished erasing pages on the Controller Pak. Restart the N64 if you wish to play the game that was inserted into the device, or turn the Nintendo 64 off if you are done using the console.

I can't find a manual for my nintendo 64 game nuclear strike. where should i look to online?

The only place I have found where it is possible to download a number of N64 manuals is here:
    http://www.replacementdocs.com/download.php?list.12

Sadly, they do not have a file for Nuclear Strike. However, if you are willing to spend a little money on a copy, one can be purchased here for about $3:

Can't not get our Nintendo 64 to work on our new Bravia TV

The Nintendo 64 sends out a signal that can only be properly decoded by old CRT TV's

Those Bravia TV's are the God's TV's even if they did work on it I wouldn't recommend it because it would most definitely eventually ruin the life span of your TV.

But to answer your Question the Cables should be plugged into AV1 which is the Red White and Yellow Connections

Barb3: The Jumper Pack (JP) is a bypass for the expansion cartridge. You were supposed to turn off the equipment remove the JP and then use the expansion cartridge. Your N64 Ram it's probably gone for good. Is either replace the RAM, which is hard to find or replace the N64. Sorry for that.... SithPitt
