Blackish print out comes from hp 1022 printer

HP LaserJet 1022 is a "host-based" printer so it must be connected to a PC. Load the driver on PC first and connect the USB cable when software tells you to do so.

Will not work on a Linksys print server.

LaserJet 1022N & LaserJet 1022NW have "special" HP print servers that can support HP host based printers.

Jan 2013 Installed this new printer driver and all my HP 1022 problems disappeared; now printing perfectly back as usual!

Image takes some time to print. Also in february hp released a fix for this kind of problem install universal driver v5.2 from hp site

Press the Go button until the green light starts flashing and the motor starts. The configuration page prints.

Go button is next to the Cancel Button ( X )

try and check for broken gear- tooth on one of the sides of the machine

adjust the page setting through pagesetup .and then check out in the print preview first before giving the print command.

on the back side thers are two papers sensors inside the printer,they get stucked,normally they should come back

Hi, Laserjet 1022 printe supports printing through the Laserjet 6L drivers and its tested, please select the same USB port for the Laserjet 1022 printer which is selected for the Laserjet 6L printer and then try printing. Ragards, MukeshS
