Have you tried plugging it in? if it doesn't work when it plugs in, then try forcing it into disk mode. depending on the ipod, it's usually holding down the menu and center button, then once the apple pops up, then hold the center and left....more information on what kind of ipod you have would be helpful.

SOURCE: my ipod comes up with the website www.apple.com/support/ipod

Try changing the firmware... slide hold switch on and off a couple of times and when hold is in off position press and hold menu and centre buttons till a silver apple logo appears.the connect to itunes and perform an upgrade or restore from under the summary tab.

My ipod touch wont turn on, it shows the little pple symbol on the screen, then flashes white, blacks out, and the apple appears again. I've pressed all the buttons to try to get it to work, but it keeps...

try holding the menu button and the power button for about 20 secs. this will cause it reset, if this method doesn't work, then hold down the menu button, connect it to a PC then hold down the power button, if you have Itunes installed on your computer, it will alert you that it detects an Ipod in recovery mode, basically after that it'll attempt to fix your problem, and it will be able to turn on again.

My Ipod Screen Went White And Now It Wont Turn On, How Do I Fix It?

Try to reset it. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until either the Apple logo or battery symbol appears. If the battery symbol appears, continue to charge iPod touch until it is fully charged.

If this doesn't work, try restoring the iPod

Ipod 8 gb screen on backlight only no ipod symbol

TRY THIS OUT

  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

My ipod nano wont do anything

I think your ipod is dead. This happened to me to. I was listening to it when I arrived at my destination, and I thought I turned it off and I put it in my pocket. Later that day when I went to listen to it, it wouldn't turn on at all. Aparently, it had stayed on. Hold the pause button for five to ten seconds. The apple symbol will appear on your ipod. Immeadility put it in your docking station before it goes away. Your ipod will turn on, and itwill start charging.

I hope this helps. Please rate my solution.

The screen flashed and die really easily.

You need to go to Settings, [on the iPod] then go to Brightness. Mess with that and see what you like. I, personally, like my screen to be at 25%.
If that's not the problem, try going to Backlight in Settings. It gives you choices or Off, 2 secs, 5 secs, 10 secs, 20 secs, 30 secs and Always On.
Another issue that I've had is when I'm turning my iPod on from the Sleep option. The screen flashes and turns black when I do this. If you press the Menu button or any of the other options on the Scroll Wheel.
If that doesn't help you with your problems, then I probably haven't had them and suggest that you Google your issue.
