My xbox 360 wont load kinect adventures,plays every other game i have got including other kinect games.Had my xbox,kinect sensor and game checked all are working fine,if anyone can shed any light on this i would consider them a god

Go to xbox.com/support to troubleshoot the problem you may be having with setting up Kinect with that game.

some games run differently on different xbox's. Heres an example, I bought a xbox slim 3 years ago, my sister bought one this year. When Call of Duty: Ghosts came out I bought two copies. Both worked perfectly on my xbox but would run maybe 2 to 5 minutes on her Xbox. Dont waste your time calling microsoft. I think its $79 for a slim and like $119 for an elite. When i called they were going to charge me $99 for a slim because it was for their time. otherwise wait til a store has a deal like walmart had 360's at black friday for $100.

1. Go to "System Settings" on your Xbox 360.
2. Select "Kinect Settings".
3. Choose "Chat Microphone".

How is it configured here?

You must update. Xbox requires it for proper functioning in the xbox kinect system. This enables the xbox to recognize your kinect camera and adds more features. So you not updating it wont let it work. Its the way Xbox companies makes their money.

If your Kinect only has one cord coming off of it, that should go into the back of your Xbox where there is a color coded slot (orange).

it is possible to get the updated dashboard without connecting to xbox live, you need to have the KINECT sensor, attach it with all components and insert KINECT ADVENTURES(which is the update), wait for the process to complete... abbra cadabbra i own 1 modded offline non-banned 360 and 1 stock online 360 both with new dashboard update

Hi there are you using hdmi cable or avi cables?

If you have a Kinect Sensor connected to the Xbox 360 S, turn off the console first and remove the Kinect Sensor. Then, restart the console and go through the initial set up. After the set up is complete, turn off the console and reconnect the Kinect Sensor. Restart the console and you will be prompted to insert the game disc that came with the device, which is Kinect Adventures. Insert the disc and it will update the console then go through the Kinect set up. Problem solved.
