Whining fan dell E520 computer

Replace the fan as soon as possible. If the noise suddenly stops, DON'T assume the problem corrected itself. More likely, the fan completely froze and stopped spinning entirely and you're at risk of overheating something inside. Generally, there are usually 3 fans in a desktop computer (cpu/heatsink, case, and power supply) and sometimes a 4th fan if the computer has a separate graphics card. Laptops usually only have one fan.

Dell Dimension E520 Hard drive constantly buzzing

This could be a sign of a failing hard drive - I would backup all of your important documents immediately to an external drive to prevent you from losing any important data.

As you have already cleaned out the dust , there is a chance that one of the system fans (or the CPU fan) may be faulty or some wires inside your system case might be catching on the fan while it is spinning.

Disconnect all the system fans , so just the CPU fan is left plugged in and then switch on the system and see if the noise has stopped. Then plug each fan back in one at a time to identify if any of them are causing the noise.

My dell dimention 9200 makes a buzzing noise and no show on monit

Sounds like its just 1 of the fans inside the case needs replacing or possibly the fan inside the power supply. These dont cost much and are easy to replace.

Loud gpu fan makes a buzzing noise that is very annoying

How long have you have the graphics card? The fans turn at a very high RPM, and when they start to wear out they can become imbalanced and make a buzzing noise. Replace the fan if possible, otherwise you'll need a new card.

But first, I would try blowing out the fan with some canned air. Sometimes an accumulation of crud or a piece of debris on one fan blade can imbalance the whole thing.

Loud gpu fan makes a buzzing noise that is very annoying otherwise works fine

see if there are any wires that are touching the GPU or its heat sink. Also see if there is any lose screw on the GPU assembly. or if the heat sink is lose. A lose screw or heat sink may be fatal for the health of your graphic card.

Hello I have a Dell Dimension 3100 desktop. After

Bad Fan... either the CPU Fan or the Power Supply Fan or the Case Fan. If the PC is older than 4 years it is probably the Power Supply.

The fan in modem makes loud noises at times

Modems don't have fans.
I think you mean your fan in the computer makes a loud noise. Some computers have settings where the fan speeds up if you are doing a lot of things--making the computer work harder.
Some fans make noise just before they fail. Depends on the type of noise. If it's a sound that has a lot of rattling in it or maybe a high screeching sound, I'm thinking you'll be needing a new fan. Probably a CPU fan is the culprit. Also, fans on video cards often go bad--so you'll have to open the case and listen to where the sound comes from.
