If you do not have wi-fi. You need to get an adapter wich is an usb on one side and the ethernet port on the other. After that you go into the wii settings on the home menu bar and go into the connection settings which will show you 3 buttons type things. Once you click one of these a menu should appear asking you if you have wireless access, wired access, or AOSS access. You just click the one you have and follow the instructions. Good Luck!

Gettin hooked up to the net with wii

Getting internet set up on the Wii is very simple. Basically all you need is a wireless router. (If not, then there is a way. If this is the case then just tell me.) Click on the Wii option on the Home page, and then go to setting. From there, search for the Internet, then click on it. You can then add a new connection, search for you wireless connection, and then run a test. At this point, you can try using this with an online game, or with the Internet Channel.

We have comcast internet and we were woundering if we can hook up the wii to the comcast internet modem through a usb cable if so we hooked it up and we dont know how to get the internet on the wii.

No you can not directly connect using the usb connection.

You need to connect either wireless through a router or you need a wii LAN adapter to connect with the Ethernet cord.

Good Luck....

Hooking wii to computer

Wii's aren't designed to be hooked to a computer monitor, but basically it's gonna boil down to your video card and software. Odds are, you're gonna have a lag no matter what you do when since it has to be processed by the cpu before it can be displayed.
