The part number is etched on the top side of the door, where the release mechanism is housed.

Hotpoint aquarius dishwasher tablet dispenser not working

Clean it by running a cycle with hot water and 2 cups white vinegar, I suspect you have mineral deposits built up and causing it to stick closed and this causes the problem

Hello my hotpoint dwf33 doesnt clean the bottom drawer properly the top one is ok

Sounds like the spray arm is blocked with crud - or the feed to it is.

The spray arm can pulled downwards and away for cleaning by hand.

Our dishwasher made a loud pop the other night, and there was a smell of burning plastic/rubber. Since then it has stopped working. No fuse was blown or tripped it seems to be local to the machine. I...

You would probably need a whole new motor but the nwith the smell of plastic you may also have a burn hole in the tub. Your best bet is to replace the whole thing. Sorry

Hotpoint DWF33 doesn't start

yes... check the wiring to the unit... get underneath your unit and make sure that a wire is not "grounding out" by making contact with a metal part down there on a section of unjacketed wire... this would definately trip your breaker and can blow wires apart with a pop.

there may be enough contact to get the initial display you describe... make sure all the wires are insulated properly and wire nutted together securely before resetting your breaker and checking the unit again.

Hotpoint aquarius dwf33 does not always work?!!

I Had this problem its to do with dry joints on the circuit board, solution, resolder all suspect bad joints even though they might look alright especially all those that have heavy electronics connected to the board that could get vibrated.
