There is a good reason why they don't want you to clear the whole memory. You will lose country, tax, monetary settings plus lots of dealer settings. It is best to edit the old program to suit your new business. It will be much easier and quicker. To reset the report, turn to Z mode and press CASH. That will clear out the last daily report. The only thing you can't clear is the grand total. That is a security issue, so it always keeps adding, but you don't need it. Your other figures will be correct each day. Some machines allow you to turn the GT printing off if it annoys you. ------------------------------------------------- If anyone needs more information, the Casio TE-2000 manual is here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2000_users_and_programming_manual.html
Had exact same problem on UX 177. You need to clear the memory. On the UX 177 unplug machine, press and hold down the COPY button then press and hold down the STOP button. Keeping these two buttons pressed plug machine in. It should display message "clear memory ?" let go of the COPY and STOP buttons and press the START button. Will then display message "memory cleared". This will also wipe out all other programming but it is the only way to stop protocol report. Then reprogram all your settings.
That stopped protocol report printing after each fax. On some machines it may be the stop and start button the need to be held down on startup. It also seems to make a difference which button you push first even though machine is unplugged.
This problem returns after a power failure so if you have a lot of numbers programmed in you might want to get an inexpensive uninterruptible power supply or plug fax into UPS for computer if you have one.
Have you tried resetting the print jobs in the system monitor screen? Or try just powering off the copier completely with the main power switch. Depending on the Canon model you have to clear the print/copy job from the sysem monitor screen.
If command was with computer and you print mode of the printer, do stop by way of the removing the task sent on printer, from panel printers nominated printer afterwards remove problem, but if in mode of copying, push all reset buttom unset or removing the mode of the printer and translation on copying
I've had a similiar problem on my calypso. In my case the key pad would go dead after washing or pushing stop after a few minutes. If I unpluged the unit for a few minutes it would work again. This would appear to be in the controller board. I removed the board and inspected it finding no problems. After re-installing the board the washer appears to be working again. My conclusion is that there is a loose connector/connection. I'd suggest you remove and re-install all the connectors on the controller board. This is the board closest to the power chord.
it might be because of two reasons, one is , check ur printer buffer, it might be restarting some old prints..
but, the prob might be the second as explained below
u might have installed some software , which might be running in the backround, and in tat , if some button or key is being assigned to print screen, then, when ever ur pressing tat key by mistake, or unknownling, the problem is occuring, so check ur backround softwares...or even installed softwares..
The only reason why your unit stops printin faxes is because the toner cartridge is nearly empty. Th e unit will then try to conserve the remaining toner for printing and copying. Follow this steps to program the unit to print all faxes, even with toner low:
When the toner cartridge is nearly empty, the machine shows
the “[Toner Empty]” message and continues printing except
incoming faxes. In this case, incoming faxes are saved in
However, you can set the machine to print incoming faxes, even
though print quality is not optimal.
1 Press Menu until “Machine Setup” appears on the display.
2 Press the scroll button ( or ) until “Ignore Toner”
appears on the bottom line and press Enter.
3 Press the Scroll button ( or ) to select “On” or “Off”.
Select “On” to ignore the [Toner Empty] message.
Select “Off” to stop printing incoming faxes when the
message appears. This is the default setting.
4 Press Enter to save the selection.
5 To return to Standby mode, press Stop/Clear.
