Enabling Cookies? I have a dell inspiron 1420 notebook, with windows vista and internet explorer. I used to watch my ABC shows on ABC.com perfectly. I have since had a few problems with vista (as I am sure a lot of people are) and have had to reinstall more than once. I haven't changed any of my settings, and this last time I have tried to watch the videos but it says I need to enable more cookies. I have tried doing the tips like tools and internet options, and even putting ABC.com under 'List of Trusted Sites' but nothing is working. I can watch YouTube and other sites, but not streaming media apparantly, and now cannot even log on to pay my credit card bill! Please help! Thanks!

It could be problem with IE7,have you tried to reset IE to factory? ,go to tools >> internet options >> advance >> reset ? if that didnt work, have you tried installing other browsers like firefox, you can download it from http://www.mozilla.com, have you scanned for viruses already, try downloading malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org

I want to start safe mode on inpriron 11420

From what i see in your specs the Dell Inspiron 1420 came with Win Vista. I assume you have upgraded, Did you check Win 8 compatibility with your hardware? You may have exceeded the hardware components limitations. Therefore it will not run Win 8 with much sucess, and will continue to crash, Check here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/system-requirements. That said, I would use win 7 at the most.

Inspiron Keyboard Jumps Around

Install the latest touchpad driver from support.dell.com

There is a setting in the touchpad tab of the mouse driver. Either Enable PalmCheck or Disable touchpad when typing (Depends on Synaptics or Alps drive I believe)

With palmcheck enabled, the touchpad is disabled when typing

CANNOT WATCH MY EPISODES ON ABC

You can try two things here:
1. Run windows update to make sure you have all the latest updates for Internet Explorer.
2. Download Mozilla Firefox from www.mozilla.com and see if that browser will play them. I had a computer once with Vista that would not play Youtube videos at all, no matter what I did, but I downloaded Firefox and it works perfectly. Vista can be strange sometimes. Good luck.
