The 1002 DVD player isn't supported anymore because the supplier that was making them for Walmart went out of business in 2007. You should return the product to you nearest store and file a complaint on ripoffreport.com.

Several blogs have been posted on the product line already.

Black Screen - No Signal when connect Bluray to TV with HDMI

I just had the same issue and I believe it was because the sound bar was turned off. The solution was turning on all of my connected equipment such as my sound bar, cable box, tv, blu-ray player, and internet router. It stopped "disconnecting" after only 30 secs of being turned on. I think it was because my husband connected it to all those things in some way so the settings are set to work with those pieces of equipment. With one powered off, in my case the sound bar, the signal can't run full circle and reads as if cut off. Please excuse my nontechnical terminology.

I just purchased a Sony CD/DVD player, model #DVP-SR200P. I assume that I've hooked everything up correctly. I get sound and picture. But, the picture is in black & white. What am I doing wrong? Is...

Try to go under the settings in the dvd player. Be sure all the setting are set up according to your TV.

Sometimes if you dont have it set to N. American standards it can output like that. Be sure its set to "NTSC" if you live in N. America or Japan. If you live in Europe be sure its set to "PAL".

Let me know If this is not a issue in comments and I will help you further but I think this is it.

Centre speaker no sound. I can hear the surrounding sounds but no dialogs! checked connections and speakers: everything seems ok. Reset to factory settings, still same prob. I think the centre channelk is...

Well, maybe the center speaker is burned. Can you hear any sound from the middle speaker !?

If you can't hear anything from it, replace the speaker with the new ones.

If you can hear a minor sound or scratch, then the sound board inside the tv set is damaged.

Connecting a toshiba sd-v392 to an old analog tv

Make sure your menu settings are correct audio outputs may have a setting for digital or analog sound output check that these are set up to analog or stereo output .Also try hooking the sound up direct to a stereo system or amp to be sure you have output! Also you may not be able to get your sound thru the convertor box!! Because the convertor is a reciever of digital signals not a line amp. for audio !! Hope this helps11 AAAAAAAAAAAAAE!!!! Since the H21 does not have a coax out then I think you will need to go to the TV first and then to your DVD/VCR. In order for me to help you fully, when is the make/model of your TV. And for the sake of completion, if you have a AV receiver (home theatre or surround sound stereo) what is it's make and model. I will then be able to describe exactly how you should connect everything up. Thanks.

No sound but plays the dvd fine

I think this is due to wrong Audio settings.
Try to change audio setting as Stereo/Right or Left/5.1 from the Audio setup of the Menu
