Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

My cell phone won't hold a charge. I moved the charging wire around and now have lost use of it. It's black. I can't remove the back to take the battery out. I don't see any button. I hope I didn't lose my phone numbers. Any advice?

My cell phone wont hold a charge

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My W995 won't hold it's charge. It will act like it's charging but only go up to around 20% charge but will not hold it.

will the charging piece if messed up, what i will do is and it always worked, I'd rap my charger wire around the phone when it is plugged in the phone so it holds, but thats the best way and it should work for along time, b/c it will cost more than the phone to fix this issue

My razr isnt charging like it use to

Your charging port is damaged, unfortunately. With a damaged handset, your only options are insurance, upgrading, or purchasing with confidence a different handset compatible for your carrier from Ebay, Amazon or Craigslist.

I would recommend insurance above all. Visit your nearest wireless carrier for further assistance. Thanks.
