The touch screen display does not work. It turns on but you cannot give the unit a command through the input panel.

Is the lcd screen completely blank? Or does is it just the touch functionality that is not working?

If the screen is blank, though the copier still turns on and appears to function (test it by printing to it,) then you most likely have a failed power inverter board. This board provides the current needed to operate the lcd screen and is a rather common failure. However, if it is just the touch feature that is not working though the screen lights up, then you most likely have a ripped ribbon cable that connects the lcd touch function to the main board on the lcd screen.

The touch screen has stop responding. All the other buttons on the control panel work and change the display on the panel accordingly, but you cannot select any options from the touch screen. Any...

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. The control panel adjustment is incorrect. This adjustment will shift the position of the touch sensor of the LCD unit. Perform the following steps:
a. Hold the Help key and turn power ON.
b. Touch selection #10 (control panel adjustment) on the touchscreen to display the control panel adjustment screen. Note: If the touchscreen is so far out of adjustment that there is no response when touching #10, the control panel adjustment can be accessed (at this point) by touching any numeric key on the 10-key pad.
Two + (plus signs) should be visible on the screen.
c. Touch the + at the upper right lightly with a touch pen (something with a round tip which is made of resin is recommended as a touchpen). Check the coordinates displayed in the top line at the top of the screen.
d. Ensure the X coordinate and the Y coordinate displayed in the message area fall within the standard values. The acceptable values are on the second line.
e. If the values are not within the acceptable parameters, repeat Step 3 until the values are acceptable.
f. Touch the + at the lower left lightly with a touch pen (something with a round tip which is made of resin is recommended as a touch pen). Repeat the process used for the upper right coordinate until acceptable values are achieved.
g. As verification of a correct adjustment, touch the CHECK keys at the upper left and lower right corners. You should hear a beep tone for each one. If a beep tone is not heard, repeat the adjustment.
h. Turn the machine OFF to store the adjustment. Turn the machine ON normally and check operation of the touch screen.

Hp pavillon tx1000 12.1 inch touch screen cursor stays at bottom left hand conrner

Clean the screen with a clean soft cotton cloth is the step #1

Step 2:
SEE FULL instruction HERE

Calibrate the touch screen
The command buttons and fields are displayed on the screen image at specific pixel points. To initiate a response, the touch screen interface needs to recognize exactly where a fingertip or pen touches the screen relative to the pixel position of the display. Each user has a slightly different hand-eye coordination response. Calibrating the touch screen allows the interface to compensate between where the program is expecting a touch and where the touch actually occurs. To calibrate the touch screen, place the tablet notebook in the desired orientation and do the following actions.
  1. Click or tap Start > Control Panel > Tablet PC Settings to open the Table PC Settings window.
  2. On the General tab, select the option to display the menus in either the Right-handed or Left-handed position.
  3. On the General tab, select the desired screen orientation from the drop-down menu, and click or tap Calibrate . Follow the instruction to touch the screen at the specified points. Repeat this calibration action for all four of the screen orientations, then click or tap Apply .
  4. On the Handwriting Recognition tab, select the Use the handwriting personalization option.
  5. At a later time, you can return to review the Go to Pen and Input Devices and Go to Input Panel Settings options to make using the touch screen to control programs and input text easier and more accurate.

G2 touch screen doesn't work any longer

You must remove the vinyl cover from the control panel and wipe down the face underneath it with denatured alcohol. It's pretty tricky depending on your mechanical caliber.
Then clean the inner side of the vinyl cover the same way. Caution don't soak the power unit just dampen a cloth, this goes for the cover also!

Lcd dv3250 not working

the fact that you have on screen display tells me that you are on a blank digital channel, or input with no signal. check to see if this is so on all of your inputs DVD, VCR, Cable, Sat box... if there is no signal still, replace the scaler board.
here's the four basic components to a LCD tv.
1. panel. there is on board electronic inside not componet level repaired.
2. power supply. this feeds power to the unit 5V, 24V, and 15V. the 5V is the standby voltage while the 24V supply the inverters.
3. the inverters. this is a DC to DC inverer used to light the lamp. these and not component level repaired.
4. the scaler board. this is the board that runs the show. it sends the signal to the panel to paint the picture.also sends commands to the power supply to turn on the inverters. this board is definatly not component level repaired. most all of the boards can not be repaired at the component level, power supply may be the only one, but not all power supplies can be.
there is one other part to the set that does have failures and that is the cable connecting the panel to the scaler. this is the LVDS cable. sometimes just reseting the cable can solve many problems.
so based on this info your panel is working because you have onscreen display. your iverters are working because without the lamps you would not see the on screen. your power supply is working because you have inverters working. and the only thing left is the scaler this provides the on screen so we know that it is at least partly working.

Mitsubishi WD 52525 & PS 3

First make sure your hdmi cable is connected from the PS3 to the TV. Then go to netcommand, review, and make sure "monlink" is checked, click next, and finish. Select "monlink" from your device manager and turn on your PS3. If the screen is blue, go to the next step. Connect the PS3 via regular a/v cables to the front panel "input-3". Create a net-command device for input-3 as well. Switch to the input-3 device you created and turn on your PS3. Choose display settings, and change the settings to HDMI. Then click change. You'll have 30 seconds to hit device manager, change the device to "monlink", and let the PS3 unit know the setting has worked. From there you can configure. Good luck!
