Question about Kenmore 25.1 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with Rotating Dispenser System
If it is only the relay that is bad a do it your selfer can do it BUT it may be a more serious problem such as the compressor which has failed. If the refrigerator is out of warranty I never recommend that a new compressor be put in. Replacement compressors are only covered by a 1 year warranty and if one compressor failed you could likely have the same problem down the line.
