No this didnt help at all, my samsung tv still turns out black and white, im not using a HDM1 cable im just trying to get the normal tv to work, i have noticed the tv only has the green, blue, and red...

As long as you can see that those ports on the back of you TV say input and not output then your compsit color code is White=audio, Red=audio, Yellow=video. It should work the green, blue, and red is just another type of component use. Good Luck!

Ive got the red power wire hook up and the yellow 12v hot all the time but dont now what color the ground wire is or the speekers are

Your ground wire is going to be black. Your normal wire colors are violet and violet/black, green and green/black, white and white/black, last but not least you have grey and grey/black. Those are your speaker wires. Solid blue is usually to power your antenna, and blue/white is for your amp turn on lead. Those two wires are approximately .5mV of power, and you can actually use either one to turn an amp on. Speakers: normally your solid color is positive, while the black stripe is your negative. As for which one goes to which speaker, left front is white, right front is gray, left rear is green, and right rear is violet. Hope this helps.

Connecting my cd stereo to 1990 Ford Taurus

since it worked before and you didnt change anything and now there is no power it looks like you blew a fuse when connecting wires. check the radio fuse on the door panel, and check the int. lighting fuse under the hood of the car. take both out and see if they are blown, if blown buy new fuses and replace.

heres the wiring diagram for a 1990 Ford Taurus:

Left Front (+) orange/lt green
Left Front (-) lt blue/white or Blk
Left Rear (+) pink/lt green
Left Rear (-) dk blue/ orange or Blk/Wht
Right Front (+) Wht/Lt green
Right Front (-) Dk green/ orange
Right Rear (+) pink/Lt blue
Right Rear (-) Tan/White
Lt green/yellow Hot at all times
Black - Ground
Yellow/Blk - Ignition
Lt blue/red - Acc
Orange/blk - Dimmer Lights
RED - Lights
