Question about Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera
I have two Canon 400D cameras. The newer one tends to sort of seize up while I am shooting, as the battery gets lower on power. It used to happen only when it dropped to show two bars, but now it has started to happen when it shows full on three bars. It takes a picture, then shows the card writing light, but won't display a picture. It won't switch off, and I have to take out the battery and restart it to get it to go again. Then it works OK for a few more shots, then the same problem happens. It is very much worse when I use it for multiple shots (motor drive mode?)
I don't really want to send it back, though it is under guarantee, but guess I may have to. Anyone know what could be the problem?
It could be that your battery has a fault and is not taking a charge, or holding it. Should it not be this i would then suggest in taking the camera in to a Canon Authourised dealer. You have nothing to loose under warranty and any repair or adjustments can be made at no charge.
