You have lost your original remote and got into this by pressing info select and the option 7 UART Download. Happened to my 95 year old aunt in assisted living. You will need the original remote and simply hit (EXIT) or another LG branded remote that has the (ROUND RETURN BUTTON) on the left. Once you accidently get in to this, I have not found a universal Zenith remote that can get you out even though Channel up/down and basic funtions work.Bud retired Bud's TV Service.

    If you notice it tells you at the bottom of the message to hit Exit. I am not saying another universal remote won't work for you ,but once in this state you cannot program it to the set for the set will not respond. When you apply power it will be on with the message TV Software Upgrade as described. When you hit EXIT the snow will return if you have the antenna disconnected and everythig is back to normal. With the original remote you can't get int this mode accidently.

This worked: Logitech remote programmed with the computer. Hit Exit. Problem solved.Will NOT work if you CAN NOT hook up the Universal remote to PC and PREPROGRAM it FIRST. If you use a remote that requires you to test the code on the TV to make sure it will work, it wont. No need to update software or replace motherboard. Used Logitech Harmony 550 remote to fix my problem. I am sure any Logitech remote will work with it as long as you program it on the PC using the USB cable and the software on your computer. Like above budgail said, its a tv remote issue. If you can get the original remote and press exit, your good. But if it still hasn't gone away, looks like an update for the tv got screwed up.

My lg k10 2017 phone does not want to transfer photo's or music with cable from pc. error message : device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected.

Make sure that usb driver and GMobileSupportTool is installed on your PC.
1. Download Lg Mobile Support Tools using the link below:

2. Execute downloaded file. Follow installation instructions. After executing LG Mobile Support Tool in Step2, you can download USB Driver:

4. Click start updating

The phone software upgrade stopped before completion?
  1. Don't close the update tool, disconnect the cable and reconnect it. And check the USB Driver connection on our PC. After that, please restart the update.
  2. Otherwise, please select "Customer Support"-"Recovery Phone" in LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL. Then, you can start to recover your phone.

Polycom is frozen while doing usb download. Has 3 red lights on. I have disconnected the battery with no result. It says SS2W USB Download ready to start download on the screed. Not responding after...

Just had a similar problem. Steps to fix:
0. use a better USB cable (that was my main issue)
1. start upgrade software
2. click 'upgrade'
3. if there's an error message like "can't connect" or something like this, wait a bit
3a. message window should open, with two options. Go with the second one - unplug USB cable, plug it again, and click "application upgrade"
4. lean back for a few minutes as the upgrade will follow.

I got files from internet to update 2009 map for my gps, but I don't know how to get them into the gps.

1. Download the SONYNAVU_U73T_3.2.CN.BIN file to a temporary or download directory.
2. Connect your nav-u personal navigation device to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
3. Power on your nav-u personal navigation device and wait until the "Connect to PC" message is displayed on the nav-u screen.
4. Start the nav-u Tool software on the computer.
5. At the "nav-u tool" window, click "Upgrade System".
6. On the right side of the Upgrade Screen, verify that the target version is 3.00.
7. On the left side of the Upgrade Screen, click the "Browse" button, and go to the directory where the SONYNAVU_U73T_3.2.CN.BIN file was downloaded and then click "OK".
8. In the "Name" box, click to select "3.02 cn NV-U73T" update, and then click the button.
9. After the update file is transferred to the nav-u device a "Transferring Upgrade file completed." message is displayed on the computer.
10. After the system software update is complete, the nav-u device will automatically shut down and restart.

14 Engineering only programming is complete. Call Christie, replace TIPM.

Only HDMI2 input works

try attaching all the sources you have to hookup, have the power on , on each unit and then go into tv menu and run auto program. if this is no help your tv may just need a firmware/software upgrade, I don't know if they give the download to the consumer or not but if the auto programming doesn't work call LG @ 800-243-0000 tell them your problem, 4 days old really don't recomend having extensive service work but it is under factyory warr. so you have the option but if they think it's the firmware upgrade and you have a usb flash drive they may send you an email with the software.
