There is a Cassette Micron Filter 60696.If you have a HEPA cartridge filter you need EUREKA's HEPA part 61500.In earlier models there is a micron filter instead of a HEPA filter--for that you need EUREKA's Micron part 60801. But if you have that HEPA filter, the manual says you have to use the HEPA filter to achieve the closed HEPA filtration system again.

SOURCE: belt

Turn vac over, take out 4 to 5 screws and the top cover will come off. The belt is a cogged belt #72393 and goes between the brush roll motor and the brush roll.

SOURCE: Can't find manual needed to see why brushes don't

Hi Please visit http://www.eureka.com/parts.jsp and enter 450 into the first box on the page where you put the model number. This will gve you two options, one is for the PDF user manual, the other for parts.
Alternatively if you are trying to get into the drive belt locate four screws, two at the front and two at the back on top of the hood. Once undone, the hood should pop off easily to reveal the brush roll and drive belt. If the belt is intact check that the dust channel is completely free of blockages.
Dont forget to rate thanks!

I have the eureka boss 4495 widetrack and the end piece of the beater bar broke off. I guess I put it back together wrong when I put a new belt on. Where can I get a replacement part and will it work do...

Call the Eureka people (1-800-282-2886) and describe to them what the beater bar thingy that you broke is. Ask them if you can order that unit--if you think you can install it. Otherwise, ask them where to the authorized repair person closest to you is located. Price the repair versus a new vacuum and good luck.

Eureka Bagless Widetrack, The Boss, Vacume, model 5893

Had exactly the same problem with my upright Eureka Model 5893 bagless. Eventually, the handle would get hot, and finally it just quit. When handle was disassembled, the wires were melted and it was toast. Ordered a switch after talking to several repair men. Talked to Eureka, too, and they were absolutely no help. Cheap wiring and switch made in China. Good luck trying to find a switch. vacuum-depot.com has switches, so you might try there, but make sure you get the 3-prong switch (same switch used on Eureka's Genesis. It is Part #27871.
