I have jenn-air JMV 8208BAS over the range microvawe. I set up kitchen timer for 60 min. after 30 min. microwave shut of completely. I noticed microvawe was hot inside. I plugged out from electrical line and plugged in again. But did not help
My microwave is under warranty. I have this problem before and it was "fixed" one month ago by replacing a thermostat. This repaire is under warranty for 90 days.
I will have a service man to look into this problem.

I would suspect that your main relay on the control board is shorted.
We see (and repair) this a lot. The
problem is on the control panel, which
we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a
week or so.
This failure often occurs when a cooktop bulb
goes out and the filament
shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first
unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a
failure on the controller.

have a good look at front to see reset??.press it once it comes back on unplug from the wall and & open it up and go to the part and give it a good clean with wd40, check the push pad for ware & tare dirt gathers and builds up
