No way of knowing what buttons are even on your amp since you never mentioned what kind of amp you have, plus I have never seen a car amplifier with a reset button in the 17 plus years I have been repairing them. Did your question get put in the wrong catagory? If so, please tell me the make and model of the equipment you are having a problem with and what the problem is would help a little to.

Do you still need help with the amplifier? If so, please give more information. If not, please please just ignore this post.

If your amp is in protect mode, it most likely has a blown channel and will require service. There is no quick and easy fix for this problem.

How do I reset my pioneer deh-x6500bt car stereo and produce sound from my rear speakers?

a 'reset' of the entire stereo should be able to be accomplished by disconnecting the battery for several minutes: alternately if you remove the faceplate there should be a reset button you would need a pen to press, however you should be able to find the EQ levels and set the balance and fade I think it is so the rear produces sound, if that is not the case, I would check wiring to make sure nothing is loose. I suppose it could only be a software/firmware problem with the stereo itself however, if you have had this happen before and it was fixed without tinkering with the wiring.

Is there a reset button on the jvc ks-ax5500?

There is no reset button for this amplifier. In order to do a hard reset, disconnect the car battery terminal (red side) and reconnect it. This will also reset everything in your vehicle (clock, A/C preferences, etc).

Reset clock radio, Model SGA-100 on a Suzuki Sidekick

There should be some kind of reset on the back of the radio so your going to need to pull the radio out. Also pull one of your battery terminals off depending on what application your looking for.

you may have a manual reset button on the face of the radio or behind the detachable face. This button can be accessed with either a paper clip or a ball point pen and should be pressed with the radio turned on.

My head unit says reset

does it only happen when you try playing the same cd? if so, the cd is the problem. if not, how long do you hold the reset button down for? try 3 seconds and see if that helps. if not, get the cd deck fixed or replaced.

My back speakers wont produce any sound

OK I believe there is a small indented "Reset Button" around somewhere on the back of the unit, With the unit powered ON, & using a small diameter implement, straightened paper clip etc, press IN the button and this should "Reset" ya unit. This may indeed fix all your problems as the Unit "Reads" the speakers at turn on.
