I have the same model, and if you turn it on and the light stays on, usually after a flash and about 10 seconds, your headset isn't paired with your phone. You need to re-pair it with your cell phone, the code is 0000. That should work.

Pairing instructions for the LG HBM-750

Easy pairing- with the power off, press and hold the PWR button for 1 second, to turn on the HBM-750

-The headset will enter Auto Reconnect mode, for 10 secs the headset will automatically reconnect to the handset

-after 10 seconds the HBM-750 will enter pairing mode, and a solid blue light will show

-using your handset go to the Bluetooth menu and search for devices/add devices and select LG HBM-750 from the list

-if this doesn't work after a couple of tries, turn your phone off then on and try again, this helped me out

-when asked for the PASS/PIN code during the pairing procedure enter 0000 (4 zeros), once successful you'll hear a beep

    Manual Pairing

-With the power turned off, press and hold the CALL button for 5 seconds, the headset will enter pairing mode and the LED indicator will show a solid BLUE LIGHT.

-Using your handset, find the Bluetooth Menu and search for/add new device and select LG HBM-750 and pair it with your handset

-When asked for the Pass/Pin code use 0000 (4 zeros) once successful you'll hear a beep. Be sure to "Connect" to the LGHBM-750

Can't remember how to pair my LG HBM-710 to my new phone - Samsung Fascinate. Can you help?

to pair a blue tooth device to a phone first you must turn the bt power on the phone to on,then you have to put your blue tooth device into discovery mode, now most manufactures use the power button for thisw feature.By holding down the power button on your device when turning it on for 6 to 10 seconds it usually puts the device into discovery mode.there should be a light that stays on on your blue tooth device.once you have the bt device into discovery mode you will be able to pair the device to your phone by search or add new device, once it pairs it will ask for a pin or pairing code.most manufactures of blue tooth devices use a 4 digit factory pin pairing code they aare as follows 0000,1234,9999,or 1111 once youve put tjhe pin code on they will pair ,i hope this helps

LG HBM 310 will not connect to to my new Blackberry 9550. I am entering 0000 as required.

You must put your headset in pairing mode first. Starting with it turned off, press and hold the power button (on its side), until the indicator light is steadily lit in blue (make sure you don't release the button when the light starts to flash as if the headset was being turned on). Only then, make your phone search for new devices. After a while, the HBM-310 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode. There might be an indication that a bluetooth headset is connected, too. The pairing process between any two bluetooth enabled devices should be performed only once. All subsequent connections between them should be achieved simply by bringing them within each other's range (with their bluetooth radios turned on, of course). At most, a simple press on the call button should suffice.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.

Please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

LG HBM- Bluetooth- need to find how to link

Strat with headset 'OFF' then hold power button until light flashes blue and red or solid blue, then search for headset on phone, pass key should be 0000, 1111, 1234.

You can get the manual by searching for the FCCID, which should be in the headset https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm

Turn it on by holding the power button for four seconds, Then go to your phones bluetooth setup screen, search for new devices, and pair it. The blue led on the HBM-760 will turn solid blue during pairing. It is always discoverable. The default passkey is 0000. Hope this helps.

Can't use my LG Headset HBM-550 with my LG Phone TG800F

with the device off, press and hold the power button. continue to hold the button after the blue light comes on and eventually it will flash blue and red. your headset is now in pairing mode. proceed to search for the device from your phone where you will select the device and enter 0000 as the pass code.

you should not have to do this again as long as you do not delete the device from your phones trusted device list.

HELP....

Well my user manual for HBM-550 says:

Prior to using the Headset for the first time, you must pair it with a Bluetooth enabled handset.
With the HBM-550 off, press and hold the Pwr/End button for 5 seconds,
You will hear two short beeps and the LED indicator will flicker in red and blue alternately, when the divice enters Paring Mode.

Using your Handset, find the Bluetooth Menu and "search for" or "add" new devices.
Select "LG HBM-550" from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.
When asked for the pass/PIN code during the paring procedure, please enter "0000" (4zeros).
Once paring has completed successfully, you will hear a beep.
After paring successfully, be sure to "Connect" to the HBM-550.
If you want to pair with other devices in the future, the headset must be placed in pairing Mode.
If the HBM 550 is in "Paring Mode" for 3 minutes, without being paired to a device, the Headset will automatically turn off.

How do I set my Bluetooth Headset HBM-730 to discover mode?

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select HBM-730 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.
Thanks for using FixYa.
