Alpine radio works fine, but only searches fm stations from 69 to channel 90. Most stations here start at 90 and go as high as 107.Radio is new, just bought on e-bay. traffic information is on AM!!!...

it sounds like you have purchased a unit that does not operate on our wave length, it sounds American, and all i can suggest is be careful where you buy things from mate, sorry, colin.

There should be some kind of reset on the back of the radio so your going to need to pull the radio out. Also pull one of your battery terminals off depending on what application your looking for.

NEED RADIO CODE

Normally suppliers make radios idiot proof...but they also make it easier for owners at times...I worked for a car company before...we always found the radio code in the glove compartment on a little sticker pasted on the walls of it....or you can build out the radio almost as if you're stealing it,ask a theaf to help...hehe..on the radio casing...you might find the code...otherwise...google

SANYO CAR RADIO-NVA-HD3100

you may have a manual reset button on the face of the radio or behind the detachable face. This button can be accessed with either a paper clip or a ball point pen and should be pressed with the radio turned on.

Dodge Neon Radio

The lights may work because the might be tied in with your parking lights, allowing them to illuminate at night for visibility. First thing's first, did you check the fuses in the fuse panel? Check them all since cars have circuits mixed around and the radio is no exception. OK since all the fuses are good, you'll have to pull out the radio and unplug it from the harness. You will have to use a multimeter which you can get anywhere (wal-mart, etc). Set the meter to DC, put the probe on a bare piece of metal in the radio cavity and use the red probe on the harness. Scout the web for a diagram of your car's harness to know what to meter. Now since everything there is ok, you will have to dig a hole and throw the radio into it because the radio is dead. A new one can be bought for as little as $100. You will need a trim kit to fit it into the weird hole from the the radio and a wiring harness as well to make it match up to your car's harness. Both can be bought on e-bay for cheap. Actually the radio can too.
