Seeking Weatherking 10ADA3601

I have an outdoor condensor that needs to be replaced. The model number appears to be : 10ADA3601
I cannot locate a weatherking anywhere to match the 10 ADA. Am I just misreding the number, or is this an older discontinued line? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can put another brand in it's place as long as it is the same amperage and the same amount of tons, Also the refregirent needs to be saved in the lines and collected from the old unit,I would get a qualified do this .

FrFMB136G1Bigidair model numbers

Hi Friend, thank you for your post!

I see that you have a Frigidaire microwave, FRFMB136G1; however, it appears that your model number is invalid. You can typically locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the front of the oven, in the lower left corner as you open the door. Are you seeking an Owner's Guide or is your microwave experiencing an issue? Please describe what your appliance is doing so that I can assist you better in pinpointing the problem. Thank you! - Z

My Weatherking is about 8yrs old and just recently stopped blowing cold air. Its feels like outside air temp coming thru the vents. I changed the air filter about 30 days And clean the condensor coil...

It sounds like your compressor is either not running or is low on refrigerant. If it is low on refrigerant it means you have a refrigerant leak somewhere in the system. The leak would have to be found and repaired or the unit is going to keep leaking down every time you pay to have it recharged.

Look for your model number on your condensor, outdoor unit. Your tonnage will be towards the end of it and divisable by 6. I.E. 36=3tons or 42=3.5tons. Ac units are messured by the half ton. If you have a split system I.E. heater inside and ac outside your system will be 1 - 5 tons. If this doesn't help post your model and serial number. I can then give you tonnage, age, so forth.

The fan does not spin

If this unit is located outdoors then it is your condensor fan. Can you hear the compressor come on? If not it could be the capacitor is bad,
If compressor comes on but fan does not, it is most likely your fan.

I have a weatherking 13AJA60A01 Ac unit and the condensor fan is not moving, I can hear a sound assuming electricity goes through the system but the condensor fan not working. The unit is just 1 year old...

Weatherking has five year parts on there equipment. You may just have a breaker kicked or tripped float switch. Check for stopped up drain Shop vac **** out stoppage from the outside drain line for unit. Check breaker. The sound you here maybe the contactor. It energizes from the tsat inside. If the contactor energizes. You have a high voltage problem. Your warranty covers aprts not labor. So call a Rheem ,Ruud or Weatherking dealer. Any of these dealers can handle warranty parts. Rusty Feadback please.

Unit was working fine. turned off for a few minutes. will not come back on.,

Sounds like the breaker tripped, either in your breaker box or in the shut off switch located next to the outdoor condensor. This could be also either one or two of the fuses blew and need to be replaced

Weatherking 10ADA3601

No your just behind the 8 ball. Our illustriousness government officials decided that because some of us cant turn out a LIGHT BULB, that we have to be more efficient on our AC and Heat pumps. Now almost no manufacturer has any 10 -12 seer equipment there hasn't been any made here in the states since 2006. This Washington mandated but if you go to a 3rd world country they may have them there. And yes it was AL GORE and his bunch that headed this up. But I bet you know Al Gore gives all his money from the enviromental movement he has to charity (of which hes the CEO) So don't blame it on the ex-president. Last time I looked Al GORE was in the "other party".

Now that the politics are out of the way you have to change the outdoor unit you'll also have to change out the indoor coil to match it. No 13 seer equipment will work properly (from what Ive been told) if matched with one of the older coils. And the manufacturer (some of them) will not give full warranty if you dont change out the indoor coil to match the out door unit.

1 Way around this for a short time could be this (especially if its hot where you are). Purchase both the indoor and out door pieces you will need for full warranty. Tell the contractor that will do your job that you would not mind if he waited to change out the indoor section till fall or winter when he is less bussy. Go ahead and have him price it all together but have him cut out his labor on the indoor coil until he comes back to install it later. This way all your bases are covered from the manufacturers point of view. (Now this maynot be a good idea if you have an older capilary or piston type expantion device on the indoor coil, if its a Thermo Expantion Valve it would be ok for a little while if its still working properly). Any models made after 2006 will all be differant now.

You didn t say what was wrong with your old unit?
Another option would be to purchase an AC COmpressor and replace the Compressor. If you take this option I always install a new over sized Liquid line drier, a new suction line drier especially if the old compressor is burned out, some acid killer, possibley the run capicator which may be out of range or incompattabe with the new compressor, and maybe a contactor. After thai the outdoor fan motor and its run capicator and the out door coil are about all thats left of the old unit to give any trouble. I may suggest a high pressure switch with a manual reset if your fan motor has some age (4 years or more). Oh yes and if you opt to do this you may have the option of an extended limited warrainty.

If this helps you please rate me as high as you can and thank you for using fix ya.
