Coleman 40 Quart PowerChill Thermoelectric Cooler

What diagram are you looking at? I only see one motor in the unit and it's the only one that Coleman has made for your item.

If all else fails, Coleman has a customer service line that can help, 1-800-835-3278 or you can email them at consumerservice@coleman.com

Hope this helps,

Glenn

I have recently bought a 40 qrt coleman eletric cooler. Has it one da y and dc plug stopped working. Replaced fuse, and checkes all volt outlets in truck as well as fuses in fuse panel they all work.

Did you accedently or spark power wires? These have a tendency to blow the diode if that happens. Also check fuse in plug of cooler. Take it apart an look sometimes the wires break.

Coleman thermoelectric cooler not cooling

Sounds like the Peltier effect elements have failed.

Depending on your handyman skills, you can change them yourself or have someone troubleshoot and change them.

Can i use 20 w 50 oil in it i cant find 20 w 40 if not that what else kind can i use?

You can use any oil that is JASO MA certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cold climate/year round. 20w-50 for warm climate/touring. Automotive oils use different additives and may cause scoring in certain types of cam bearings. Do not use any oil that says " Energy Conserving " on the label . It will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. If you choose Synthetic oils, they will help your bike run cooler and shift easier. Shell Rotella T ($12 a gallon) and Rotella T Synthetic 15w-40 ($22 a gallon) are inexpensive JASO MA oils. In most Yamaha street bikes you will need between 3 and 4 quarts of oil, an aluminum drain plug washer, and a filter. Pour in 3 quarts , run the motor, and check the oil level . Top up as needed.

Hi, i need to know what kind of oil you recommend for a 1995 xt 600 and the oil capacity, thank you

Use only JASO MA certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cooler climates. 20w-50 for warmer conditions. Any oil that says Energy conserving on the label will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Synthetic oil help your bike run cooler and shift easier. You will need 3 quarts of oil and will have some left over. How much you need to put in depends on how well you drain the old oil. There should be two drain points, one on the frame and one on the motor. You will have to pour in between 2 and 2 1/2 quarts and run the motor for 5 minutes before you can accurately check the oil level. Then top up as necessary but do not over fill it .

Coleman 12-volt cooler stoped working/fan burned out

Sound like you have the newer version. These fans can be found at Radio Shack or anywhere computer parts are sold. It doesnt have to be an exact replacement. Just big enough to fit over the Cooling fins. Also make sure it's a 12 volt motor
