Range displays code of F4 and stops working
F4 Oven temperature sensor (RTD) shorted Replace Oven temperature sensor (RTD)
The F2, F3 and F4 codes refer to problems with the oven temperature
sensor or the keypad. If you see the two-digit F2 code, it means your
keypad has shorted and the ERC must be replaced. The four-digit F2-E0
code means that the oven temperature is too high. Test the door lock and
the relay operation, and correct as necessary. A two-digit F3 code
means an open temperature sensor or thermal fuse, so those parts must be
replaced. A four-digit F3-E0, F3-E1, F3-E2 or F3-E3 code or a two-digit
F4 code means that either the oven is registering as too hot or the
temperature sensor has shorted. Either way, the oven temperature sensor
must be replaced.
Hope helps.
