Its says my blue tooth is connected to my iphone but I am not getting the password to come up> Where does that come up at?

Eileen,

There are 2 parts to bluetooth. step 1 is pairing. You need to set the phone AND the headset to detect each other (pairing mode). The phone is the easy part - it will tell you on the screen that it is searching for the headset. The headset has a specific way to put it in detect/pair mode. Sometimes it is holding down the power button for 5 seconds or longer. When the phone detects the headset, it will ask for the password and allow you to name it.

Sometimes, the phones already try the default 0000 passcodes and connect automatically.

Step 2 is connecting to the bluetooth device.

If you are connected and can make and receive calls, you don't need to do anything anymore.

Best of luck.

BH200 Bluetooth with inspiron 1525

Yes,
Ensure that both devices are in discoverable mode.
Now on the computer go into the control panel and click on add a bluetooth device.
A wizard would start and it would guide you through the process. It will also recognize the device and give you the option to enable listening to audio through the bluetooth device. Once confirmed the headset would be configured with the computer

Hbhpv708 when i press any button the red light glows the headset is on phones will recognize the headset but connecting to it will fail resetting also not working

Hi, Before any bluetooth will connect to any phone, the red or red and blue light must flash back and forth. Make sure you're phone is in the set-up mode to recognize the phone. The easy way to do this if you dono't have directions, is to get the name and numbers off of the bluetooth and go online to find it. It will walk you through the steps to connect it to your phone. I have done this with many different models if all else fails. Give it a try and let me know what happens. This will solve you're problem,

Set up with iphone3g

7.: Make sure your headset is discoverable
8.: When it shows up on your iPhone, tap it
9.: If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000" (if the headset instructions list a different passcode, use it instead of "0000")

How do I set my Bluetooth Headset HBM-730 to discover mode?

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select HBM-730 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.
Thanks for using FixYa.
