In order to log in to the router you will have to type in the address bar of an open internet explorer window "192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1" the actual number will depend on your gateway. If you have a computer that is wired to the router..click start-highlight "connect to"- click on show all connections. Right click on local area connection and then click on status. Click on support tab at the top of new window, one line should say default gateway...that is the number you need to type in the address bar to access your router. That should open a new window prompting for username and password. For most manufactures both will be admin. For some username is admin and password is the word password. Hopefully this helps.

Good Luck

Tip

The Log function!!

I calculators you can't change or set the base of 'log' is default 10 so you need to know these:

log x (base y) = log x / log y

when log x it's automatic log x (base 10) here some examples:

log 8 (base 2) = log 8 / log 2
log 27 (base 3) = log 27 / log 3

and the base it's default 10 again, and that is how you need to use it in calculators(no bases), and here the explanation to this:

log x (base y) = log x (base 10) / log y (base 10) = (log x / log 10) / (log y / log 10) = (log x / log 10) * (log 10 / log y) = log x / log y

here so other stuff about 'log' :

log (x*y) = log x + log y
log (x/y) = log x - log y

Hope it's helped

I CANT LOG IN AND IT ASKD ME TO TYPE IN A CODE THAT SHOWS UP SO IT WILL LET ME LOG IN AND IS STILL NOT WORKN IT KEEPS GIVING ME DIFFERENT CODES TO USE AS PASSWORDS I KEEP TYPING THEM AND WONT ALLOW ME TO...

I have to assume you mean logging into a web site of some kind.

The 'code' that you type in IS NOT THE PROBLEM. That is only to prove you are human and not a computer trying to access the site.

The Problem is the log in info you are using. The Log In NAME and PASSWORD need to be correct. The extra funny looking info [code] is not the log in info, just human proof.

You may need to follow a link for 'Forgotten Password' or 'Log in name' to help you log in.
Hope this helps.

Guys i need to get an inverse log the same as log-1 ou know how?

Hello

When you talk about the natural logarithms [LN], the inverse of the log is the exponential

ln (exp(x))=exp(ln(x)) =x
but with othe logarithms, thinhs are different
Let us take

y=10^(x)

then with log standing as usual for log in base 10 take the log of both members in the above equality

log(y) =log{10^(x)) = x* log(10) : this is a property of the log function.
However, log(10) =1 This is also a property of the log

Gathering results, we end up with the new equality
log(y)=x or x=log(y)

Without entering into extraneous details that mathematicians adore, we can state that there is an equivalenve between y=10^(x) and x=log(y)

y=10^(x) <-->x=log(y) where <--> means implication in both directions.

Here is a screen capture from another calculator to convinve you. Your calculator cannot do that.

Hope it helps.

I need help with a change of base formula problem.

It's simple here some logs:

log x base y = log x / log y
log (x*y) = log x + log y
log (x/y) = log x - log y
you just need to know that the default base of log in calculators is 10, so log x mean
log x base 10 = log x / log 10,
so write log x / log y for log x base y example:
log 8 base 2 = log 8 / log 2 that is how you write it on calculator, hope it was helpful

Log function help

Sorry, this might not be much help but apparently the calculator is set in a mode called "base 10".  I have never learned logrithms really in school, but did a little for my ACT.  I figured that in order to do a problem, you need to divide.  EXAMPLE: 8 log 2 = ? would be entered [log] [8] / [log] [2] [EXE] and the answer 3 will be displayed.  Not much help, but maybe this will get you in the right direction.

To solve the problem using log

Look the calculators has a default base 10 and you can't change it but you may learn this:
log x base y = log x / log y
log (x*y) = log x + log y
log (x/y) = log x - log y
so instead input log 8 base 2 you need to input log 8 / log 2
your example answer is about 0.919... if i get right what did you write.
Glad to help :)
