Question about Whirlpool Kitchen Ranges
Hi, The E1-F5 code means that there is a problem with the door locking circuit.
Try moving the door lock if access is easy. - then turn off at the wall for 5 minutes to reset.
There could be a faulty connection with the interlock switch or the drive motor. With the power off, Check the switch operation first. It could just be a faulty contact.
To access it, you have to rise the top to access the latch if the motor is bad. There are screws along the front edge when you open the door. These need to come out to lift the top. Take care not to lift too high as you may crack the top.
