Yes, your "trial" period for using the software, without paying, is ending within 2 days.

So, uninstall it, and access: http://www.OpenOffice.org
and download this _FREE_ "productivity" software package.
There's one program that is quite similar to Microsoft Word,
another program that is quite similar to Microsoft Excel,
and another program that is quite similar to Microsoft PowerPoint.

Each of these programs is _FREE_ -- which meets your budget, correct?

I bought anote book with microsoft office home/student 2007 **** it kept asking for the proudct key which i couldn't found

It sounds as if your notebook came with Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student Edition 60 Day Trial Version and that the trial period has now expired, requiring you to purchase and download an Activation Code from Microsoft to unlock the time limitation, if you want to continue using the software.
If, however, you are certain that the installed application is fully licensed and not a trial version, then all you need to do is to activate it by going to the Microsoft website and, under Support and Activation, allow the site to scan your computer and verify the validity of the license. If the software proves to be licensed it will automatically be validated and the usage and Automatic Updates restrictions lifted, removing the need for you to enter a Product ID.

If the software proves to be unlicensed or trial-expired, the
Microsoft website will offer you the chance to buy and download an Activation Code that will automatically unlock the time limitation and upgrade your trial version to a full version, validate and legitimize the installed Office software and automatically remove any usage limitations and Automatic Updates restrictions that you might be experiencing.

A Microsoft Product ID is a Microsoft generated code that links genuine Microsoft software with a genuine Microsoft license that allows the user to install and use the software with the authority of the copyright owner. Without a valid Product ID, the software is illegal and installing it and using it could qualify as software piracy and copyright theft which, in certain circumstances, could become a civil legal issue or even a law enforcement matter. Please be aware that, not being knowing about the Law does not usually qualify as a Defense in legal matters, when someone else's rights have been infringed.

If this copy of Microsoft Office is unlicensed, then what you are probably experiencing are the first signs of usage restrictions and limitations that can ultimately end up in the application locking you out completely and therefore becoming totally unusable. As things stand you are probably already unable to benefit from Microsoft Automatic Updates, enhancements and security patches for Microsoft Office.

I advise you to use only a genuine licensed version of Microsoft Office or you will almost certainly have authorization problems such as the ones you are starting to experience, which defeat the very purpose of installing the software in the first place.

As an alternative option, you could buy and install a heavily discounted, genuine, licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Plus Edition starting from about $85 (plus shipping and packing) or Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus Edition for about $78 (plus shipping and packing) from similar websites a below (when you find them geographically local to you):

The only legal downloads of Microsoft products are available from Microsoft. Microsoft does not currently offer downloads of old products like Microsoft Office 2007 or Office 2003. The only Microsoft Office product a user can download is the Trial version of the latest version of Microsoft Office in the market. At the moment what you can download is Microsoft Office 2010 Trial. Trial versions of Microsoft Office are free to download but can be used only for the usually 60 days of the limited trial period. After the trial period expires, to carry on using the software, the user must again upgrade to the full version and buy an online Activation Code from Microsoft that unlocks the trial version's time limitation and allows perpetual use of the software from then onwards.

If this type of software is important to you but don't want to or can't afford the retail price of Microsoft Office, then you could download, install and use completely free Office software such as Open Office, which is very similar to Microsoft Office and can even open, edit and manage the majority of the most common types of Microsoft Office spreadsheets, databases and documents. You pay nothing at all to download, install and use Open Office. It is an Open Source software application.

It should give you an option somewhere to activate. If it does, follow the prompts and enter your activation code from your DVD case (most of the time it is a sticker with numbers+letters on a sleeve inside the case).

My free 60 days trial has expired. How can I get another free one?

Hi

If your Trial version is Expired for Office 2007 and you are not willing to pay for a product key, the best option is to download the latest beta version of Msoffice 2010..That's exactly what you need.

Login to www.mynortonaccount.com and check the subscription status. if the subscription shows as expired, then you will have to contact the customer service.
