Hi....i want to know the different types of fonts how it looks like in EPSON LQ300+II printer??????? and i want to know how i can change the font without entering the default settings?????? thanq

I guess you can change fonts using control characters but I don't know if you can embad tham in a word doc. No way to test it because I don't have this printer.I remember having done it in early days of DOS word processing with Wordstar.

Hold ALT and type the command character - the numbers 27. In notebook will look like an arrow to the left, followed by writing a command character, examples:
? P Selects 10 cpi
? M Selecting the 12 CPI
? ? Select dense Print - 15 CPI (this character is typed by holding the ALT key figures 15)

To change font in Epson LX-300+ Printer is as follows :

Step 1
Switch on the Printer.

Step 2
Hold the Pause Button for 3 Seconds (until you here a beeb sound).

Step 3
Now you see the pause LED blinks, now you press Font button to change the font (you here beeb sound on change of each font).

Step 4
After selecting the font press pause button once.

Step 5
Thats it now your font has been changed.

The Epson printer is controlled directly by the computer it is connected to. The printer actually has no say in how and what it prints, so if you want to change any aspect of your print document (such as the text) you need to adjust the text in the document you are printing from. This only requires a few clicks of your mouse and once the text style is changed you may begin printing with the next font.
1. Open the program you are printing from and want to change the text font of.

2. Select "File," "Open" (or click the "Open" button on the front of the program), then choose the document you want to print.

3. Click-and-drag over the text you want to change. Once highlighted, click the font type option on the top of the page and choose the new font you want. Once selected, all the highlighted area changes.

4. Click "File," "Print" and choose the Epson Stylus CX5000 as the device you are printing from. Click "OK" and the document will print with the new text.

Here is how:
1. Printer should be turned on, but not printing
2. Hold down PAUSE button for 3 seconds. The pause light will flash and the 2 tear off (FONT) lights shows the current font selected
3. Press Tear off(FONT) button to cycle thru fonts till light indicate the font you want. When you select the font needed it stays in use as default till you change it.

Note: Some software can change the printer font selected.

switch on the printer after it came in ready mode press online button to use in offline .... now press the font button of the printer to change the fonts in the printer ............. if you want know what is the setting of the printer just press the online ( try L/F ) button and switch on the printer it will print the all setting of the printer ....... and goes through the instruction how to change the settings ........

using the fontpanal in dffrent type of menu set to font ........ok

change the fonts of the printer by pressing the font button on the panel (Refer user manual for more details)

use courier font. it works just as draft font. no problem in VB-6 i hope it will also work with .Net as well.

yes you can change the font tray to print the printer internal setting tray that press and hold any key by tarn the printer off then on after you tarn the printer on release the key

have you check the white cable? (from the printer head to the
mainboard) .If the white cable is ok and you confirm that the 
printer head is fine, then the problem is at the mainboard.

most problems like this that i had encountered is at the transistor
at the mainboard. Try to check it out using a multitester.
