The main problem is with the Internet port connection on this router.
Make sure that the internet port is connected to your DSL modem, or Cable modem. The 3rd light from the left on the front panel is the WAN (Internet) light. It should be solid green or blinking.
You should also be able to connect into the router using a web browser.

enter the username and password.
If it has never been configured before: username (admin) / password (leave it blank)
Try running the setup wizard in the web browser.
Hi,
I'm having almost the same problem, the only difference is that my WAN (Internet) light is orange. I did manage to configure my router, all my cables are in right place, only the wan port never worked.
I have excellent wireless signal, but no access to internet and if i connect my cable directly to my computer or through the LAN port of the router, again i have internet access, but i have a subnet and i assigned my fixed IP to the router and now i need this internet to work in order to get my other IPs throught dhcp.

There may be many reasons for this. Please check the following things one by one.
1. If you have another known good laptop then try it with your wi-fi router. See if the wi-fi router is able to connect to the internet
2. If you don't have another laptop then use an ethernet cable (RJ45) cable to connect to the wi-fi router. See if this helps.
3. While connected with the wi-fi router see if you can access the router. open any internet browser and type 192.168.0.0. you should get the router page. If you don't get then you have to configure the router first.
4. Check the internet settings of your browser. There will be "internet options" or similar in the menu of your browser. Click that. In the GUI you will get "connections" tab. Click that and select the proper wi-fi setup.
