Question about Rainbow E series Canister Wet/Dry Vacuum
I was using the Rainbow and it stopped running. Is there a fuse or reset button. Nothing happens when I turn the switch on.
Did you ever find out the problem with your rainbow? Mine did the same thing today- turned on the switch yet nothing happened. Think it needs a new switch???? Do you know how to get canister apart after taking out first screws?

It is a thermal shutt-off switch that tries to safe the motor. Smell indicates that there is somethng wrong with the motor so when it reaches certain temperature it shuts it off. You should not keep vacuuming with it as it may cause other motor components to burn and then repair costs will go up.
