Question about Sportline Watches

Sportline Solo 900 [ ladies]

Posted my problem in wrong place. This looks much better.
Put my watch on today, time correct on face, but when I pressed the button to check pulse, everything went blank. No matter which of the4 side buttons I press, nothing happens. There is a high-pitched whine from it, when placed at ear level.
Does it need a new barttery? Where do I have one replaced properly?
I only bought it a couple of months ago, and, unfortunately, threw out the instructions with the wrappers.
Thanx for any help, I can get,
Scotty

    Goodmorning Robotek,

Thanx for the solution for my watch problem.

I did as you suggested, and was fortunate to have it exchanged for a new one, by a very helpful young lady at Sears, where I purchased it, so all is well.

My email from your company, is saying i have another problem to be solved, but there was only the one, and you solved it.Perhaps, because I had posted it in the wrong place, Please erace it , if need be.

    thank-you,

    Scotty

High-pitched whine sound is the sign that battery is going to run out , the battery is need to replace ,the size of the battery is SR 2025 or lithium replacement 2025,any brand Maxell,Everyready,Toshiba,Seiko and Renata..
This is very easy to replace, you need only a jeweller screw.and a piece of hankerchief.... at the back of your watch there is four small philips screw, when going to unscrew put the hankerchief at the pad where you going hold to open the watch, hold the watch firmly when unscrew to avoid unwanted scratch. If you already open you can see inside tin plate cover the battery,.The battery is in the center ,find the end of tin plate that covers the battery,if you see the end twist it so you can take out the battery and replace it with a new one ,then your watch is working again..
When closing the cover make sure the gasket(black rubber) is in place ,so water can't get inside, then screw the cover.
Dont wory your watch it is 30 meter water resistant..
You can buy the battery in local grocery store ,or electronics store, the battery size is common just give the size number...
i have site for free manual; .

Its simple the battery is faulty but before replacing the battery just remove the old battery and try to insert it again by giving it mild warmness through dryer the problem can also occur due to moisture in it.

Good Day,

Battery replacement is a good start. Any jewler in your area should stock the battery and install it for you at a resanable price. You could also take it to an electronics store, however they may only sell you the battry and not install it.

The best advice I can give is to replace the battery , If you still have this problem then there is another issue to address. Those battery's usually last a year or two, I could have sat on a shelf before you purchased it thus depleteing the battery.

Hope this helps

Do you have warranty on it? You may have to send it for service.

    Battery

Battery replacement will be required from time to time,

    and should occur when:

    • The display fades in part or completely

    • The Heart Rate function will not activate

  • Ekse Jun 29, 2008

If replaceing the battery doesn't solve the problem, you may have to take it in for service.

Let me know if you need anything else,

    Thanks,

    Ekse

One more thing about replacing the battery - from the user guide:

    "

To replace the battery of your Sportline Solo 900 Heart Rate Watch,

we recommend that this be done by a watch repair service center.

This will ensure that the water resistance will be retained after battery

    replacement.

The Watch uses the standard lithium replacement battery: 2025"

It will need to have the battery replaced. , i would take it back to the store that you purchased it from and request that they do it for no charge for you. They will do this for you. Great customer service.

I just got a sportline solo 915 heart rate watch. When i put my finger on the metal part of the face it is supposed to measure the hr, but is says "HR Off". I can't figure out how to turn it on. Any ideas?

For Sportline 915 all you have to do to turn on the heart rate feature is to press the reset button on the lowe right and put your finger on the meatl part. A heart will appear on the top right of the screen indicating that the feature is on.

Sportline watch

Love my watch, Was placing it on wrist, time correct, pressed button to test pulse and everything went blank. Pressed reset button, with no effect. It has a high pitched whine when placed at ear.
Does this mean I need a new battery, and where is that done, so I don't mess it up.
Appreciate any help as I don't have the instruction book either,
Scotty
