Hi, The happy news is there is no problem with phone, the hardware of your phone is in good condition. The problem is the battery. The battery of the phone is dead. This a step behind Stone dead stage.Next state of your battery is stone dead. You can't even use it more. Now the phone Battery will act like charging.Your battery can take small amount charge only because it is dead..Even though you charge your battery for 2 days continuously it will stay for 30 min or 10 min depending the charge usage.
Solution for this is you have to replace it soon..Go to nearest shop and check this with their battery and buy it.
Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
It looks battery completly drained and dead (as It took so much time), the best way first to check "Circuit" status in Battery through Voltmeter (poles)..or another way go to any cell phone shop and give a trial with another batterty to check status of your unit.
with rechargeable batteries you have to fully charge it up then completely run the battery dead for the first 3 or 4 times this is what extends the battery life. I have had an LG viewty for 16 months and only charge my phone twice a week. this is a golden rule for all rechargeable batteries
I did this once and it ticked me off. You have to take your phone in and have the sims card replaced. Your provider will then punch in the codes for the sims card and you will be back in business.Mine cost $10. It ticked me off, though. I assumed that they could just look for the code online and do it without buying a new one. Good Luck.
I've had a Centro for 3 months and its such a let-down. Not only does the other caller find that my voice comes and goes randomly during calls but, like you, the battery started playing-up.
You'll find that a hard reset will bring the battery life back up. Hard reset clears EVERYTHING, so backup. To hard reset, remove and replace the battery while holding down the red, drop-call button until you are prompted to hard reset.
You'll find the battery life is bertter again, at least for a couple weeks...
My suggestion if you have Sprint, go to their corporate store. They charged me $35 for a new phone. I did not have their $7 a month warrenty... but I do now. The only thing they will not do is replace the phone if it was in water.
