Acer Laptop Vista service packs 1-3

I received an update from Microsoft last night and it was installing when I went to bed. This morning when I try to turn on the laptop it doesn't. It tries to repair something automatically and can't and then shuts down. I didn't set up an administrator password but it won't let me in if I just hit enter.

remove power supply nd battery, should allow you normal boot up.
