Sounds like the coolant needs to be changed in the CRts. You can get a CD with complete Instructions to change the coolant yourself at the following link that has step by step instructions with pictures. Its listed under the repair kit catagory on the left side they have the CD available or you can get the complete repair kit which includes the CD and 48 ounces of high grade optical coolant. Heres the link.

On my Phillips rear projection tv. The blue mulitipoint ajustment is not working. It will adjust left and right, but not up and down.

This is a very common failure on Projection sets. Its called a convergence problem.
You may have one or more of the following symptoms.
Screen looks 3D
Colors don't line up
One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
Screen is bowed or warped.
No Audio / No Video - Makes Chirping Sounds

My Philips 51PW9363 has pink and green colors only!!!!

Projection TV sets are known to have two common problems. The first problem that is common to these sets is convergence failure. When this happens the TV will usually look 3D, Wavy/Distorted, etc. It may also shutdown and blink an error code.

The second common problem with Projection TV sets is dull video, halos around objects, white looking video, or red overpowers the screen. This is commonly caused by the fluid in the lens being clouded overs.

Can i fix it myself/ phillips/magonavox 60 inch tv big screen

When you turn the color all the way off do you get a black and white picture? If not you will need to do a grayscale adjustment. Turn the brightness and contrast down until you get a black screen. Then advance the screen control on each CRT until it just lights the screen and then back it off to just black. If one of the colors does not appear then you can adjust the master screen (usually on the HVT) and then readjust the other two. If this doesn't help you can try to clean the projection lens on each CRT. If anyone smokes in your house then it's possible that soot has built up between the lens and the CRT. Separating the lens from the CRT can be complicated and even dangerous. I would have a TV shop check each CRT and see what they recommend. This can be done in your home. Good luck.

Does the power light light up when power is pressed? Does it blink? If so how many times does it blink? Have you checked the fuse?
