Is there no factory setting on that unit sir,in that case the bad dics error is need to repair or fix some a technician.there are 3 different type or deffective parts to replace it.first type the MODULE of the dvd player ,is need to re-heat the parts of the module by using a hot-air or soldering iron, second loose connector or cable between the module and lens, and third look the lens if lights up while loading the dics which means the lens is good,if theres no lights up or lazer, the lens are deffective.

I have a Sanyo TV Model # DP26640. I have a Magnavox DVD Player model # DV2100. i am unable to play discs I make on my computer on the TV HELP!

If you can play original CDs then the problem is in neither the TV nor the DVD player , but in your DVD authoring software or your skills to use it (no offense meant).

Overall I seriously doubt the TV make and model is relevant here.

Depending on what exactly are you burning and how are you burning it the DVD player may be important as it may have certain limitations, e.g. codec formats supported or media types supported (e.g. DVD-R vs DVD+R etc.)

Dvd will not load disc

If the unit indicates no disc or disc not read it is likely a dirty or bad optical pickup in the player.

Daenyx TV DVD Player Error

You either have a dirty optical pickup or a bad one in the unit--it reads the disc.

They do make a cleaning disc but that is only 50-50 chance(sometimes a disc gets put in with some kind of residue on it)

If bad the built in player will cost more to fix/replace than a cheap external unit connected to rear inputs in place of it--this is the real issue with combo units--usually cheaply made etc.

LG TV with built-in DVD Player says "Disc Error"

Since you get this with every disk then the player has failed.

Our TV/DVD player (LTV-32w4 HDC) is just out of the 4 year extended warranty we bought. The TV works fine, but the DVD player will not start up. When a disc is inserted, it seems to be trying to start...

Hello
According to your complaint post, the fult is due to its DVD mechanism itself. It will be best to replace the DVD tray mechanism [ plastic made one]. You can bought it from most of the electronic spare part shops at your town. But the model fitted with Westinghouse will be very difficult to get. Anyway try to get it. The fault is with loading tray mechanism itself. OK.

I have a audiosonic (cheap) KMV2201DVD Player not matter what DVD

Try using a DVD with a different format as this is usually why DVD players only play some DVDs. It's possible your DVD player is set for the wrong regional area like NTSC and PAL. Cheers, eiger3790.
