Re: Singer TV Model 20LNC
How much times the light blinks that indicates what the problem is , there are two things in the unit one is fuse and other is power supply board. if you are familiar with soldering or reparing then go for it or you have to call the service technician for sure.

I believe that model has a logic board in it and that is what it sounds like to me. That is just off top of my head, but I believe if you will notice the standby light it will be blinking so many blinks and stop and then blink again. If so this is a code that you can look up on the Samsung web site and plug in your model and it should tell you what just say ~ 4 blinks means. I worked on so many and it has been a while but I believe the last one I had was a Samsung and I put a logic board in it. If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.
This set is pretty complicated my friend. You will need to check the standby power supply on the F board for the proper standby voltages. If they are good, your problem is most likely on the G1 main power supply board. I do have a service manual for this set if you know how to read them. It will save you about 30 bucks, if you want it from me. Leave your e-mail address and I will share it with you. Good luck with this repair.
1) This is a CRT based set so there is no "lamp" involved.
2) The standby light should be blinking a repeated count of blinks with a 2 second pause between counts. Please report the exact count here. This will indicate the circiut in which a problem was detected.
With the above information, we can provide you with a more detailed description of the problem as well as the likely solutions and cost.
you can look at the deflection board for a burnt up little blue capacitor, it will be 1picofarad at 2000 volts, if it's not that obvious, then you will need convergence chips or a flyback, you just can't troubleshoot that problem yourself.
Hi!! have you tried checking the main plug for it, as well as removing the cables at the back? chances are there are loose wires on it, if you only had it for two months then you still have the warranty for the product call sony's technical support
