Question about Canon PowerShot A540 Digital Camera
My camera was working fine til yesterday when I noticed that a strange image had shown up on the LCD monitor, some weird, abstract purplish thing in the lower left corner. I can't take a picture; instead the camera beeps 6 times. I've turned it off and on, replaced the batteries, nothing works. Any advice appreciated, thanks!
I'm sure 6 beeps means something but with the Canon makes their manuals they never tell you what it means.
Here is the complete owners manual for the product in case you don't have one:
The troubleshooting section starts on pg 89.
If that section doesn't help you, Best Buy may have a solution or any camera in your area can help you.
