Missing plug for monitor

Have a Hyundai ImageQuest L50A monitor it has a vga and s-vidio connections. How does it power up ?

Well,
It doesn't have a s-vid connector, that's the plug for the powersupply.

Plug the headphones/speakers into the computer. Go into Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Audio Tab -> Sound playback -> Select your headphones from the drop-down list. Voila headphones/speakers that work.

the vga monitor cable also carries the audio - there is a 3.5mm jack on one end of the cable that plugs into your speaker socket

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). Power Pin-out?


I have built an adapter cable which allows to use monitor with the power supply of an external hard drive. The image below contains the pin-out for the power connector of the L50A as well as the wiring scheme for the adapter cable.

How open up the casing


First, remove all six screws around the base of the monitor. Then, pry the silver bezel off. It's clipped on so don't be afraid to use force, just watch out for breaking the plastic around the area you're prying. The part around the base can be difficult, so take it easy but forcefully.
