N reg mx3 1.8 v6 - please help!!

Hi - my mx3 runs like a bird above @3k revs yet when I first start to drive or when I have had to slow down then try to accelerate, she seems either starved of fuel or as if there is an air block or something! I have to mess with pedals to get revs up again to drive away. shame really as she is beautiful - J x

Sounds like the transmission is worn out and will need a complete rebuild. I'd guess $2-3k. Sorry.

Sounds like the ISV (idle stabilizer valve) is screwy...Take it off, spray some carb cleaner in it..refit it, if it doesn't work replace it.
