My computer dosnt recognise my creative zen microphoto.

I recently recently tried to use my creative zen microphoto after around a year but my pc (windows xp) wont recognise it. It wont even come up as a device in my computer. I've tried reloading the software and dowloading the latest upgrades etc but nothings worked. firmware cant be loaded as it says the device is not plugged in. I have tried using different ports and usb connections but still no luck. Please help!

I've got the same problem. I tried an upgrade of the firmware and that is where the problem started. I only get the screen with recovery mode and 4 choices and that is it, I cant't even switch the player off.
While the player isn't reconized bij my computer I can's fix the problem.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi My player is Creative ZEN MOZAIC EZ 100 - 4GB It is not able to recharge and when connects to PC there appears scaning Disk... and nothing else happends long time.

I've had similar issues with the Zen Microphoto, usually the case is a defective cable. Even though the PC sees the device that does not mean that the cable is connecting properly. Try using a different mini USB 2.0 cable. That fixed all of my issues with my Zen Microphoto's connection and inability to charge.

Can't Add files to mp3 after reinstalling-device not found.

I have an older ZEN, so I'm not sure if I have Creative Media Source 5, but mine never worked really well either. My Windows Media Player recognizes mine, so I just sync to that library. I even have gotten a new laptop since I got my ZEN and I never downloaded anything, I just connected it to Window's Media. I hope that's helpful!

Zen Microphoto frozen..

Solution ID # 4794 from creative site ZEN Micro and ZEN MicroPhoto 1. Make sure that the battery is charged. 2. Detach the ZEN Micro or MicroPhoto from the PC, and ensure that it is turned off. 3. Remove the battery. 4. Move and hold the Power button to the Power On position and re-insert the battery to the ZEN Micro or MicroPhoto. Hold the Power button until the Recovery Mode appears. The following options will be displayed: -Clean Up : Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.Does not affect music files themselves. -Format (All):Caution! Erases all content!Save a copy of your player's content before formatting. -Reload OS/ Firmware : Caution! Erases your player's firmware. DO NOT select the Reload Firmware option unless you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install. Reboot Reboots the device.
