I have a cd which when played back on my older computor with media player 6 it plays but on my newer computer with version player 9 I only get sound and an automatic skin playing. It comes back with the error COOD10D1 (XVID MPEG-4). Its some kind of codic error.
I want to copy it to a general CD or DVD so it will play on all my computers and DVD home theator. Can you help me please?

This is a codec error. I can send you a link to a full codec package to download and install.
Click on this link, select a download site and when its done, click run form the download folder. Take all the defaults while installing.
It also installs a program called Media Player Classic that is a player only. It will play anything.
But this package installs all codecs you should need if that fails to solve your problem let me know by using the comment box below and we'll try the Microsoft package but I hate to use it.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
