that sounds like the central locking controlling lock is malfunctioning , if it is the drivers door then that lock is the control lock and need replacing
Press any of the buttons on the control panel to see if the buttons are
operational or check to see if the "Control Locked" indicator light is
lit. If the control panel is operational, you may mistakenly lock the
door.
Press and hold the "End of Cycle Signal" button for approximately three
seconds until the "Control Locked" indicator light shuts off.
Try pressing an holding the "End of Cycle Signal" button on the front panel in for 3 seconds. This button is used to lock/unlock the control panel to keep small children from manipulating the controls when the dryer is not in use. A designed safety feature. Is this like a child lock?? if so holding the appropriate button down for upto 10secs is the fix. is the control locked? it not its just the diode circuit which is faulty and will not effect the operation
