I have a Brother 5370DWT. I replaced the drum about 5 weeks ago and just yesterday I started having jamming issues. Every couple of pages the printer is jamming. I have to pull a page from the drum and usually the bottom tray. There doesn't seem to be any consistent pattern as to when the jam occurs. I print several hundred pages a week and have only owned this for 6 months. Help.

I have had the same problem on these machines, try cleaning the paper pickup rollers, ive also found that some remanufactured cartridges causes this problem, I dont know how or why but they do.

Paper Jams are routinely caused by bad roller in the printer. The Heat of laser printers can render these rubber roller pretty useless in a couple of years or less if you print often. If you have recently replaced the drum (according to the recommended print output number), Then If an $80 dollar roller + labor is worth it to you, go for it, otherwise buy a new printer and Brother gives the best ink value per page. hope this helps.
HI. Most likey the issue is with the Fuser. Just replaced a fuser on a printer that had the same issue. The pressure roller and sleeve need to be replaced on the fuser or just get a new fuser. you have take out zamed paper from the printer from the back side of the printer by ejecting the try from back side if it present. or pull out your tonner and then pull out the zame paper.
ok, both of those solutions are totally bogus....first, the quality issue...i build about 25 of these cartridges a week, and it sounds like you should check the life of the drum unit, if you haven't cleaned the corona wire already. ( refer to the printer documentation) Brother uses a seperate drum unit that will wear out after 12,000 pages, not the pickup roller. So if you have replaced more than 4 toner carts, it is likely, depending on your usage, that the drum unit is worn. Take out the whole toner/drum unit, remove the toner cart by pressing on the lever on the left front of the assembly and pull up and out. Now you should have two pieces. Look into the larger piece, and if you see excessive wear on the drum, it needs to be replaced. The jamming is a different issue, though....let me know if you need more info....don't buy a new printer yet!!!
