HI, I NEED A THREE CENT RUBBER BAND/DRIVE BELT TO OPEN/CLOSE DVD DISC DRAWER. APPROX ONE INCH IN DIAMETER. CALLED COBY AND NICOLE #3146 SAID THEY DON'T HAVE ANY PARTS...IF UNIT DOES NOT WORK WHILE IN WARRANTY, RETURN IT AND THEY SEND A NEW ONE.
DON'T WANT TO TRASH A UNIT THAT WORKS OTHERWISE. NO WONDER THE U.S.A. IS IN THE SHAPE IT IS IN TODAY, AND CHINA OWNS US !!! GUESS I WON'T BUY "COBY" AGAIN. A REAL BRAND NAME WILL HAVE REPAIR PARTS.
IF YOU FIND THE PART, PLEASE LET ME KNOW @

No Sound when playing a video game on Coby Pertable DVD player

Do you have the audio plugs in the proper spot? The red & white audio plugs from the PS 2 need to be plugged into the audio in jacks on the portable dvd player in order to get sound. Should match up red to red; white to white for sound, yellow to yellow for video. Hope this helps.

I have a coby dvd player which is connected to my home theatre sound system. However, i canot increase the volume to a satisfatory level past #20. the theatre sound system is at max volume.

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

Unfortunately, there is no way to increase the output of the Coby dvd player within the player itself. It may be that the player isn't outputting very well through the audio coaxial output which i presume your using. If this is the case, there is no fix for that type of issue. You would want to replace the player.

Unfortunately, if the player will no longer read any commercial dvd that you attempt to play, the unit is defective and needs to be replaced. The unit has a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. You will need the receipt in order to receive a warranty exchange.
