what are you referring to as a "shuttlecock"? The rotary hook? Feed-dogs? or bobbin mechanism? there is nothing on a 2014 i remember called a "Shuttlecock", i looked on the Pfaff parts sights and can not find a part called that either?

Let me see if I'm understanding what's happening.

Do you mean that the housing around the bobbincase/bobbin area is turning round and round, then something has definitely come loose and should be taken care of by an authorized Pfaff technician. Unfortunately if this housing has come loose, the whole machine timing may now be off and attempting to sew could damage your machine further.

Hope this helps - please don't hesitate to respond back if you have further questions. We're always happy to help.

I have a pfaff 213 sewing machine and want to know what category to look under to get a couple of different feet. Machine is old but works well.

The following link should be helpful--your machine model is listed at the bottom of the page:

Pfaff Presser Feet

Your machine:
"The following Pfaff models use low shank and snap on Generic presser feet, you will need to purchase the Generic Pfaff snap on shank to use the Generic snap on feet."

Your machine uses the same low-shank presser feet as the Model 211:

The presser foot on my Pfaff Tipmatic 6122 will not stay down, so the fabric will not feed.

It sounds like the pressed bar is sticking and will not push down completely and is difficult to lift. I have come across them many times on the older pfaffs. Unfortunately that is not sometime that can be fixed at home. It is caused by the lube going bad inside the pressed bar that lubbricates the spring that is inside the pressed bar. Find a pfaff dealer that knows about older pfaffs and they should be able to help.

How do I engage the bobbin winding gear for Pfaff 7570?

To disengage the needle while winding a bobbin do the following: the handwheel on the right end of the machine has an inner knob. hold the outer rim of the handwheel stationary as you rotate the inner knob counterclockwise. Also make sure the bobbin winding peg is pushed over to the right and the bobbin is seated on the peg.

Hi I have a pfaff industrial zig zag 428, the bobbin has stopped all rotation

bobbin case should be stationary, bobbin itself is rotated as thread unwound, check hook timing. Simply turn hand wheel towards you and watch needle go down, when it reaches lowest point turn it slowly until needle rises 3/16" or so. Hook should be behind needle and slightly above eye.

Pfaff 2014 bobbin casing has thread - needs to be removed - how?

I had this problem with my 7570. I kept trying to wiggle the hand wheel. Took everything apart I could to get at it. Finally after many try's it moved and I was able to use a tweezers to get the tread out. A friend suggested applying a drop of oil to the bobbin case and letting it sit. She said it would desolve the thread some so you could move it.

Bottom thread from theh bobbin is in big loops.

Problem with Brother CS-8150 Computerized Sewing Machine
bottom thread from theh bobbin is in big loops.

I have a CS-8150 as well -it was fine until I decided to clean the shuttlecock and I thought I had put it back correctly. However, it was after replacing the shuttlecock in place that my bobbin thread was making big loops and no matter what tension it kept doing it. So I removed everything out of the bobbin area. Cleaned and made sure that the shuttlecock was exactly in place as per the manual. Guess what it does not make big loops any more.
Just a suggestion.

I have a pfaff 1473 the display blinks on and then off. The display stay stays off

Mine is doing that too. According to the manual, you need to replace the fuse. I'm having trouble locating where the fuse is though.
