SOURCE: hook up pioneer stereo amplifier model SA-1270

for audio system always you have left and right channels.
get the output (left&right) from tuner---go to equalizer input left&right.---from equalizer output go to amplifier inputs.and certainly from amplifier output to speaker.

SOURCE: Hi there .......my sa gx303P

These units are designed to only run the fan when necessary. If the unit is overheating, there is a problem in the detection circuit. This is a relatively inexpensive repair. If you are getting overheating when running at a low volume, it suggests that the speakers are not matched to the amp. In other words, the amp is expecting an 8 ohm load and is being presented a lower ohm load. This makes the amp work harder and generates more heat. Check the speaker wires and make sure that they are not frayed or crossing in any manner. Also, verify that the rating of the speakers is correct.

Update this with what you find.

Thanks,
Dan

NHT sa-2 amplifier won't go into standby mode after 10 Minutes of no signal

Does the NHT sa-2 have it's own pre-amp? Because I'm wondering if the power off only works when it's own pre-amp is used? So when your receiver is connected it's shut off.

You could try something connected to it's own pre-amp (if it has one) and see if it goes off when there's no signal from that.

How do i hook up a amp to my 2000 ford taurus se

For you to connect an amplifier to your car stereo, try looking for the RCA pre-outs. It is very standard to all head units for you to use an external or seperate amplifier. Use RCA cables to connect the RCA pre-outs of your car stereo to the amplifier.

I have a GK Backline 600 bass amp with an intermittent pre amp problem. Sometimes it works fine then starts distorting. One odd thing i've noticed when I shut it down, about 7 seconds later the clip light...

This is not a problem with dirty components. There is a semiconductor inside that is sensitive to heat and is failing. This unit should be taken to a service shop before complete failure. It has the potential for frying the output section depending upon the part that fails.

Please seek professional assistance with this repair.

is the REM wire from the unit hooked up to the amp?

Amp shuts off when switched from radio to cd

your amps rem wire is hooked to the power antenna wire on your head unit and so when you turn off the radio you would nolonger need an antenna so it powers down and would lower the antenna.Depending on the head unit you should have one output for the power antenna and one for the amp rem......If your head unit doesn't have the rem output you can wire it to the switched wire that powers your head unit but keep in mind the amp will stay on while you have the key in acc or run position even if your head unit is off.
hope this helps!

Technics SH-AC300 Connection to Power Amp & Pre-Amp

Hi!
The problem is, that your SH-AC300 needs an amp with 5.1 input (but no decoder). For this purpose technics delivered SA-AX710.
So if you'd like to use your current equipment it would be impossible.
The only option is for you to buy 2 more Power Amps (SE-A900S), so that each of 3 amps would take care for one part of music. (one for FL, FR; one for RL, RR; and one for sub and center).
Another option is for you to buy SA-AX710. Then all the problems would be solved with it.
