Heres the basemap
http://rhamphorinkx.newmail.ru/maps/na_lb112%20(ex_400-500-600_na).rar

Copy attached "BASEMAP.MGI" to eXplorist, in "Background maps" folder.

These downloads are in rar compressed format if you need a free decompressor one can be downloaded from www.rarlabs.com

I don't find maps

It seems your map data(base) may have been corrupted. Have you tried restoring the data from your backup ?
or you can try running a (fix) disk utility against your (internal or external) storage disk for the GPS ?
For instance, connect the GPS to your PC (Windows), and select (highlight) the (internal) "disk" on the GPS device. Under File - Properties, go to the Tools (tab) and run the "Error-Checking" option.
Running this utility may fix your map data error.
If not, you'll want to get a new map ...

We have a DECT 6 system with a base unit and five satellites. Suddenly the satellite phones don't work, but they are alive (with no dial tone and don't ring) and show a message "out of...

Hello.

From FixYa Support:

- unplug base unit for 15 seconds
- press "PROGRAM" button on handset
- from menu, select "HANDSET SETUP"
- from menu, select "REGISTRATION"
- handset display will prompt you to press and hold PAGE button on base unit for 5 seconds, then press "PROGRAM" button on handset

Perform steps for each handset. You may need to plug base unit and unplug for each handset.

Hope this helps.

Will not show transferd maps will show routes that have been sent to it base map showing

Go to the SETTINGS menu and select the MAP INFO menu. Make sure that the check box by the uploaded map that you want to use is checked. If the map is not checked, then only the base map will appear. This allows different maps to be installed simultaneously.

Error code list fo geforce 9300 motherboard. i have error code 85 right now

You seem to have a problem restoring a network mapping connection to a shared folder. System error code 85 means "The local device name is already in use." This error code may also display as "ERROR_ALREADY_ASSIGNED" or as the value 0x55.
You may receive the "The local device name is already in use" error message when you try to restore a network mapping connection to a shared network folder on a Windows XP-based client.
To resolve this issue, remove the existing network mapping. Then create a new network mapping for the share. Your anti-virus program could also be part of the program. Try disabling the AV while you create the new network share. Hope this helps.

Explorist 210 no base map

I solved this problem by gonig to the secret menu by holding the nav + power. I entered the value # 95 in the menu. This will let you format the memory area in the unit then I down loaded the latest firmware update from magellan.com and installed it on the
unit.I had already made a copy of the files on the unit in my hard drive so i copied the files back to my unit so that i did not loose anything important like poi's and geocaches etc...

PS when I did the firmware up date the base map must have been restored.

Route calculation error

I was having the same problem and contacted Garmin support.

What I had done was turned off the Basemap that came with the unit. I only had the mapsource map street map on which I had purchased separately.

The technician basically said the unit needed the basemap to "locate itself". Somehow the basemap supports any maps you purchase separately. That seemed odd but once I turned the Basemap back on it calculated the routes and the error message went away.

If you have the Basemap off, try turning it on from the Map Setup - Information window.

Hope this helped.

since the unit doesn't have a base map it needs to be loaded with the base map so send it for a service so that the base map could be added.
