I am trying to create a DVD from .avi file that I downloaded from my digital video camera. Every time I try to burn the DVD using Windows DVD maker or publish using Windows Movie Maker Vista crashes after a few minutes.
I am using Vista Home Premium on HP Pavilion dv9700 with AMD Turion 64.
Any help will be appreciated

I did not have Nero, so that was not the problem.
It took me 2 trips to Best Buy service and the motherboard, cpu, fan and keyboard were replaced.
Finally I can create movies and burn them. I have made 2 so far and hopefully the problem will not be back.

I have a nikon D80 and just started using aperture 2 on a macbook pro. When I transferred a batch of photos directly to aperture, multiple versions of same image transferred - two .NEF files and one .JPEG. Images also don't appear as thumbnails in the preview section.
Did I transfer wrong?
