How do I start another chat? - cecae25.jpg look like this one ^ #59 on parts list

if all the wires good and have a good connection

then it has to be a bad control (spend fix so I would double check all thermos first) please let me know

My 2013 Avalon has an awful smell when starting up lingers a while. I think it's coming from the AC. The dealer doesn't know how to fix this smell problem.

Obviously the dealer does not have a service department. Don't shop there anymore. Find an appliance repair shop and ask them about your problem, see if they have solved this problem before. If they act like they have never heard of this problem, keep searching. You don't need to be paying technicians who don't have the experience you need.

Hello Jim,

I'm glad I was able to help you. Hopefully you can return the help regarding my assitance on the chat session for your dryer.

For some reason your accepting my solution has not been recorded although you rated the help as 4 thumbs up...my account shows the solution was rejected.

Perhaps you can log in again and amend the error, as much as I like to help with the chat sessions, it is based on customers honoring the system and us experts providing help on the premise of getting paid.

Thank you.

My GE dryer keeps making a squeaking noise. I think the belt may need dressing, but can't figure out how to access it.

UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS.
Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication.
If you have a front loading machine.
Remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers. Pay attention to the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt and drum.
Check your rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them replace them.
If they don't then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve your noise problem.
I will include these two websites for parts and further help:
http://www.partselect.com/
http://www.appliancepartspros.com/index.aspx
Both also have chat assistance 24/7.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

this relay is a starting device that works by supplying current to the motor's starting coil. Once motor has gained sufficient speed (the threshold speed}, this current naturally reduces to click the relay off and allowing only the "running" motor coil to take over. Now if the motor suddenly slows down, below the threshold speed, the start switch locking relay also drops out and you must press the switch again. So why may the speed begin to reduce? Possibly the drum bearings need lube or adjustment or the motor is just getting worn down or your power source is lower voltage than required (also look at wire size leading to wall outlet). Try to find one of these as your problem first. Just curious, do you have the same problem with no clothes in dryer? If not, then focus on ..if you do, then focus on [drum bearings need lube or adjustment or the motor is just getting worn down]. If you do, then focus on [our power source is lower voltage than required (also look at wire size leading to wall outlet).]
